Flightline Paraflite is the American distributor for a new elliptical wing for powered parachutes called the CHIRON. The CHIRON is manufactured by SYCON-AIRCRAFT with offices in Austria and production in Israel.

Elliptical wings offer a whole new era in flying PPCs. They offer a much better lift vs. drag ratio. Hence, you get better climbs, lower cruise rpm, better gas mileage, lower noise, much better glides for safety in reaching emergency landing areas. You also get much better turning capability. In short, now PPC pilots can actually FLY vs. driving around in the sky.

The average PPC wing is 500 sq.ft. The CHIRON is 380 sq. ft. with MORE lift than a rectangular 500!
